NEW TEXTILE ART SCENE is a textile artist collaboration based in Stockholm. Our practice is founded on craft and a sense of directness. We're creating a platform for contemporary textile art in Stockholm. And we have a ruthless relationship with craft. We work with a graffiti inspired directness and oppose the slowness of textile craft. The projects are often based on performance and the relational aspects of the work rather than the actual product.

Hanging out in the new studio in Liljeholmen
The charity shop Stadsmissionen is just around the corner... Lots of brilliant stuff to be used in art projects... We found the green sofa there for the new studio, so we can sleep and eat cookies all day :-).
